It’s a beautiful sunny September day here in Halifax. I wanted to share some good news. I’ve been nominated for three Nova Scotia Music Awards (Male Artist Recording of the Year, Songwriter of The Year and Folk Recording of the Year); I reckon they’re all a bit of a long shot but I sure am stoked to get the nods, I’m in great company.

Hi there,
I just got back from the sunny shores of California and I got to say it was wicked.  Jill Barber, Rose Cousins, Old Man Luedecke and myself were fortunate enough to get to play at the Strawberry Music Festival just outside of Yosemite National Park last weekend.  Unreal.  We were accompanied by legendary tour manager Wayne O’Connor and master social coordinator Mickey Quase and a good time was had by all.   We also saw some great music.
