Hi everyone,
I spent this past weekend in the homeland of New Brunswick.  On Saturday I went back to Mount Allison University in Sackville to attend the Alumni dinner.  It was great.  I was awarded the Contemporary Community Award (see last post for details).  It was a really nice time and thanks so much to the university for choosing me. It’s an honour.  Yesterday I did an interview with Grant Lawrence on CBC radio 3.

Hi there,
The long weekend here in Canada is over and I’m back on track.  Had a birthday barbeque, good times.  Most of my time lately has been spent playing guitar, writing and getting back into playing the trumpet in a big way.   In a week and a half I’m going to be playing in the horn section at Joel Plaskett’s (joelplaskett.com) big homecoming shows here in Halifax at the Rebecca Cohn.   Two nights (May 28th and 30th).

Hey folks,
It’s been a great week here in Halifax.  I had one of my favourite shows ever last Friday night at the Paragon.  It was so fun.  A rocker, if I may say so.  People were dancing, the band did a wicked job.  I was feeling like one lucky guy.  I’ll put up some photos from the night soon.  But for now I wanted to put up this sweet new press photo.  I hope you like it!
