Chester show a success!

Thank you to everyone who played a part in the Summer of Simple Pleasures – and it’s not over yet! David is performing at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday, September 15 and is looking forward to sharing the stage with Kathleen Edwards.

Here is a photo of David playing the Chester benefit concert on Aug. 19. Proceeds from the show went to the Lighthouse Food Bank and we want to send a special thank you to everyone who bought tickets to the show that night.

CBC Radio 2 Up Close

CBC Radio 2 continues its look at some of the best music festivals in Canada and gets Up Close with some of the artists that are on the bill at these festivals.

This week Radio 2 is taking a look at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, N.B. The festival runs from Sept. 11 to the 16. This year’s festival is looking pretty hot. Along with featuring the best in Canadian music the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival makes a point of bringing in some of the coolest acts from around the world.

Summer of Simple Pleasures Winner Announced in NB

Congratulations to Christopher Collins from Fredericton, who is the grand prize winner of David Myles’ Summer of Simple Pleasures contest in New Brunswick. Christopher has won two tickets to see David Myles at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, plus two backstage passes, and one night accommodations at the Delta Fredericton.
