2013 has been a great year for New Brunswick native David Myles. Not only did the musician release his acclaimed double-disc set In The Nighttime, he also won his first Juno Award for his hit ‘Inner Ninja,’ recorded with multi-platinum rapper Classified.
What better way to celebrate a year of success than give back to the communities of New Brunswick? Myles’ free noon-hour performance at Champlain Place next Wednesday is one of three shows that the musician is performing in support of New Brunswick food banks.
Congratulations to Karen McKinney Barrett from Fredericton, New Brunswick who won the David Myles video contest. Karen wins a new iPod Nano with all of David’s music, just in time for the holidays.
A huge thank you to all the fans who liked and commented on the videos. And thank you to Mat Dunlap who shot the videos and edited them for us to view each week. It was a lot of fun to make them and share them with you.
He shows up every year at this time, goes quickly from city to city, is a snappy dresser and gets his picture taken with kids in the mall. Must be… no, not Santa, it’s New Brunswick’s own David Myles, back in the province once again for his 4th annual Singing for Supper Tour. Every Christmas season Myles puts on the suit, heads back to N.B. and plays songs to support food banks.
