David Myles takes it to the next level, releasing his new double disc In the Nighttime on May 14th

David Myles

On In the Nighttime, the two sides of Myles – sultry crooner and energetic showman – join forces like never before. Disc one, produced by Aaron Davis, is a full-length album brimming with vintage pop songs and romantic folk ballads, while disc two is a six song EP of contemporary, beat laden tracks produced by hip hop heavyweight, Classified. Each album establishes a different mood but both are powered by Myles’ superior songwriting and smooth vocals.

Myles first worked with Davis on a collaboration with opera diva Measha Brueggergosman, for her single “Whole To My Half”. David’s collaboration with Classified started two years ago with the single release “The Day Doesn’t Die” and, most recently resulted in the Juno Award winning runaway hit “Inner Ninja”, which has been certified triple platinum in Canada.

Somewhere on the spectrum of sounds between James Taylor and Justin Timberlake, David Myles forged his own path by embracing modern and vintage pop, folk, and soul music. With extensive touring experience across Canada and internationally, Myles earned his reputation as a great showman. His flawless musicianship and unforgettable stories have made him a favourite with audiences everywhere.

Myles will kick off the release of his new record on May 9 with a Halifax show that will feature fan favourites and material from his new record. It promises to be a night to remember.
