Happy new year!
I hope you enjoyed your holidays. December was a busy month but ended beautifully with a great couple weeks with my family back in Fredericton. The “Singing for Supper” food drive tour was a great success. $3699.97 and 564 pounds of food raised for food banks in New Brunswick. Thanks so much to everyone that came out to the shows and donated. Also, big thanks goes out to Delta Hotels, who donated rooms for us while on the road and to Sound Systems Plus for donating the sweet PA that we used for the shows.
Later in the month, I played a great benefit concert for Hospice with Measha Brueggergosman at the Playhouse in Fredericton. It was a beauty. Full house, lots of money raised for a very important cause and a wonderful opportunity to share the stage with Measha, one of Canada’s most exceptional talents.
New Year’s Eve was spent rocking a full band show at the Boyce Farmers’ Market alongside Ross Neilson. Not often do I get to fully rock out with all of us wielding electric guitars but this proved to be the perfect opportunity. Lots of dancing and good times. Here’s a picture. Thanks for the visit. I hope 2011 is off to a good start so far. Lots to look forward to this year. I’ll keep you posted.
