One of David’s “Simple Pleasures” is giving back, and this summer he’s doing that by performing a solo show at the Chester Playhouse on Sunday, August 19 and proceeds will be donated to the local Lighthouse Food Bank and Feed Nova Scotia. David’s support for food banks began in 2009 with his annual Singing For Supper tour in New Brunswick, which saw him performing free shows for the public in return for food and cash donations.
Fans in Nova Scotia can listen to their local, participating radio station for a chance to win an autographed copy of David’s catalogue. One grand prize winner will be drawn on July 15, from all the station winners, and will receive two tickets to the Chester benefit concert, a backstage pass, one night accommodation at the Mecklenburgh Inn, plus dinner for two at the Galley Restaurant.

And, on September 15, David is performing at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival with Kathleen Edwards. One grand prize winner will be drawn on July 30, from all the station winners, and will receive two tickets to David Myles’ Harvest Jazz and Blues show, a backstage pass, plus one night’s accommodation at the Delta Fredericton.
